Terms of Use

At Add Text, we want the rules to be as clear as the app is simple. By downloading or using Add Text To Photos : Textgram (“Add Text” or “the app”), you agree to these terms, which are an agreement between you and the developer of the app (“we” or “us”).

1.1 Your Licence. The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which also applies. These terms add the details that are special to the app. If the two differ about the licence itself, the Standard EULA applies.

1.2 Your Devices. You may use the app on any Apple device you own or control, as the App Store’s Usage Rules allow, including through Family Sharing where it is available.

1.3 Your Data. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Anyone can design with the app, without an account and without giving any personal data. To agree to these terms, you must be old enough to make an agreement where you live; if you are not, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you and approve any purchase. You must be at least 13 to share templates with the community.

At Add Text, we believe what you make is yours. Your photos and the designs you make with the app belong to you, and we claim no ownership of them.

3.1 Your Responsibility. Use only photos, words and other material you have the right to use. You are responsible for what you make and what you share.

3.2 Your Copies. Your designs are kept on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Please keep your own copies of anything important: we can’t restore designs we never receive.

Your designs are yours to use, for personal and commercial purposes alike, such as social media posts, invitations, cards, flyers and promotions.

4.1 App Content. The fonts, stickers, letters, shapes, borders, frames, filters, quotes and templates in the app (“app content”) are owned by us or our licensors, and are for use inside your designs. Please don’t:

• take app content out of the app to share, sell or reuse as files, packs or a collection of its own;
• use app content in a trademark or logo;
• use app content in a way that suggests we endorse you.

4.2 Fonts. Fonts are open source and keep their own licences, listed in Add Text → Settings → Acknowledgements.

Sharing a template lets other people start from your design, and we treat that trust with care.

5.1 The Permission You Give. When you share a design as a template, you give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive permission to store it, show it in the app with your creator name, and let other users use it as a starting point for their own designs.

5.2 When It Ends. This permission ends when the template is removed, either at your request or when you delete your account, except for designs other people have already made with it.

5.3 Your Promise. By sharing, you confirm that you have the right to share everything in the template, including any photo it shows. Every template is reviewed before it appears, and we may decline or remove any template.

Add Text is a place for creativity, and we want everyone to feel safe in it. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t share anything that:

• is illegal, or encourages anything illegal or dangerous;
• is hateful, harassing, bullying or threatening toward anyone;
• is sexually explicit, or exploits or endangers children in any way;
• is graphically violent;
• is false or misleading, spam, or pretends to be someone else;
• shows someone’s private information or image without their permission;
• uses material you don’t have the rights to.

6.1 Reporting and Blocking. Anyone can report a template, or block its creator, from the ••• button on the template. We review reports within 24 hours. When something breaks these rules, we remove it, and we may stop the person who shared it from sharing again.

6.2 Copyright. If you believe a template uses your copyrighted work without permission, email us a link to or screenshot of the template, a description of your work, and how to reach you. We remove templates that infringe.

Designing is free, with every tool. Saving or sharing a design that uses Pro content (marked with a crown), or a Pro format or size, needs Add Text Pro, a subscription.

• Plans. Pro Weekly starts with a 1-week free trial, and Pro Yearly with a 2-week free trial. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends.
• Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
• Free trials. One free trial per Apple Account. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Price changes. If a price changes, Apple tells you beforehand and, where required, asks you to agree.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, which handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Offer codes. Codes redeemed in Settings → Redeem Code follow the terms shown with the offer.

AI Design and AI Text suggest titles, captions and layouts, and they do it on your iPhone. They build designs from the app’s own fonts, stickers, frames and filters; they don’t generate images. Suggestions can be wrong, unexpected or unsuitable, so check the result before you share it. You are responsible for what you publish.

We want the app and its servers to work well for everyone. Please don’t:

• copy, change, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• get around Pro, or unlock content you haven’t paid for;
• overload, scrape or attack our servers, or reach them other than through the app;
• use the app to break the law or anyone’s rights.

We keep improving the app and its content. Features and content may change, move between free and Pro for new downloads, or end. Downloadable content and template sharing need an internet connection. Links to other websites and services are their own responsibility.

We work hard to keep the app reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be free of errors or available. As far as the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or unexpected losses, or for lost designs or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your rights as a consumer under your local law are not affected.

The app is distributed through the App Store, and Apple asks every developer to include these points:

• These terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• The developer, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, the developer, not Apple, is responsible for dealing with that claim.
• You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You can stop using the app at any time, and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend template sharing for anyone who breaks these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

16.1 Whole Agreement. These terms, the Standard EULA and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app.

16.2 If a Part Doesn’t Apply. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later.

16.3 Transfer. We may transfer these terms to someone who takes over the app; your rights under them stay the same.

16.4 Your Ideas. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve the app without owing you anything.

When there is a material change to these terms, we’ll show a notice in the app and on this page at least a week before it applies, explaining what changed, and the date at the top will change. The app will ask you to agree to the updated terms before you continue using it. If you don’t agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

Your message goes straight to the developer of Add Text, who reads it personally, and in most cases you’ll receive a full reply within seven days. If we need more information or more time, we’ll let you know, and we’ll always reply within 30 days.
